for some strange reason on my dads computer (the one i play battlefront on) i can't get my mic to work at all on it. any ideas?

open up volume control (the little speaker down by your clock, make sure your mic isnt muted! if you cant see the mic volume control click options...properties then check the microphone checkbox!

If the volume control isn't down on the right you'll find it in start, all programs, accessaries, entertainment. After that check the control panel, sounds and audio control, voice settings, you should be able to do a hardware test, you talk into it and should hear yourself, it has a help if you can't hear anything. Let us know if these 2 things don't work.

check that you the mic plugged in properly, and in the right socket!

a way to test if it works is in the soundrecorder wich is with START>programs>accesoires>entertainment>soundrecorder
and then to adjust press the volume control wich is along with soundrecorder in entertainment or by your clock, they have mensioned before.
